Our faith-based trauma recovery services help survivors heal in Texarkana, TX

At We Are FREE, we assist human trafficking survivors as they process their experiences and rebuild their lives. We accomplish this through our individualized trauma recovery services, which include long-term residential care,  physical care, spiritual care, addiction recovery and holistic therapy services. Since 2021, we've provided care to 45 women and children who have experienced the horrendous realities of human trafficking. Now, we're committed to expanding our services to help other survivors in the Ark-La-Tex.

Human trafficking survivors have experienced the unthinkable.

To assist them in processing their trauma, they need support. Our nonprofit provides just that assistance. We provide our valued survivors with access to trauma-informed licensed counselors, spiritual care ,holistic therapies, life skills classes and trauma-informed therapy with licensed therapists, along with group sessions, addiction recovery programs and job training. We provide these services in a supportive environment that fosters healing and restoration at a pace that's comfortable for them.

The proof is in the numbers

Our nonprofit organization has had the privilege of helping survivors of human trafficking in the Texarkana, TX and Rosston, Arkansas in the greater Ark-La-Tex Region access trauma recovery resources and restorative care. In 2023 alone, we've offered:


  • 6,372 meals
  • 248 hours of individual and group therapy
  • 289 hours of holistic therapy
  • 601 hours of education and job training
  • 39 hours of legal support
